Welcome to the Quilt Show!
The quilts shown on these pages were made by Julie Maas, of Long Beach, California, between 1972 and 2015. Julie has always had a strong interest in traditional styles, applique, and things that are unusual or whimsical. Her education in anthropology gave her a special interest in national and ethnic quilting styles.
Julie was a two-term President of the South Bay Quilt Guild and in 2007 was selected by the San Pedro Bay Historical Society to do their annual one-person quilt show at the Muller House in San Pedro, California. Her quilts are displayed regularly and have won awards in regional shows.
All of the quilts in these pages, except one, are hand-quilted.
