Julie's Notes on These Quilts

  1. President's Stars: After completing one year as president of South Bay Quilt Guild, members gave me quarter yards of fabric. I used these fabrics to create the stars and the diamonds around the edge.
  2. Star Quilt: This quilt was paper-pieced. Each star has 135 pieces.
  3. Crib Quilt: A simple, crib-size quilt.
  4. Jewel Box: This paper-pieced quilt uses 998 different fabrics, truly a scrap quilt.
  5. Fun with Triangles: This is one of my early quilts.
  6. Stars and Houses: Multiple colors and a happy scene. I really like the houses you can make with fabrics.
  7. Sailboats and a Lighthouse: I suppose I could call this a study in colors and geometries, but almost all quilts are, to some degree.
  8. Hearts: This is one of my earliest quilts, and probably the simplest.
